The initial plans were for a complete refurbishment.  After various discussions between the architect, our client, and myself it was agreed that it was more beneficial for the building to be totally demolished and then become a new build. 

The first stage of this project was to convert part of the stable block into living accommodation, so that our clients could remain on site to look after their livestock.  During the build a huge amount of traditional oak work was needed, this was all done on site by our craftsmen.  The roof line of the existing house exhibited a wavy line.  The clients liked this feature and so we tried our best to create the same on the new build.

The project was very well received and as a result, we have been nominated for the Best Builder (South) award.
